West Oxford Dads was founded in September 2014 by player-manager Mark Walsh, continuing the fine tradition of organized football in West Oxford. It debuted with a 6-4 win (5-0 halftime) against 'Florence Park' in October 2014.

Ever since, W.O.D. has been setting the standard for elementary school dads teams in Oxfordshire. Despite numerous setbacks (career-ending injuries, broken ribs, debilitating man colds or questionable music taste), W.O.D. has managed to build an impressive record, including decisive wins against the likes of 'North Hinskey Dads' or 'Oxford Gummies'.

The team colors are (typically) yellow and black. (The resemblance with Southend's away kit is purely coincidental.) Perhaps surprisingly, given its continued success and its enthusiastic, albeit small, fan base, W.O.D. does not yet have a team sponsor.

The 2014-2015 season:
